Our History

In 1988, fresh out of college, I began my journey in death care at a local cemetery in Norristown, PA, selling door-to-door. Over the years, I’ve gained a deep understanding of all facets of this profession—from sales and management to training and leadership roles. My career has taken me from Unit Manager to Vice President of Sales and National Trainer with esteemed organizations like SCI Dignity, North Star, The Lowen Group, and Carriage Services. I’ve managed multiple locations and conducted training sessions twice a week for the past 25 years. Working closely with insurance companies like Homesteaders, National Guardian Life, Forethought, Great Western, Security National, Atlanta Life, and NC Mutual, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the field in many ways.

Now, with Deathcare Speaks, I aim to give back to the profession that has shaped my life. Our mission is to support and empower those in the deathcare industry through education, connection, and shared experience.
